Before Hiring the Ecommcopywriter
Tulip Natural is an Israeli-based luxury skincare company that has been around for over 20 years.
Although they had previously expanded to the USA, their website did not reflect what their brand was about. And the translated content did not connect with an American audience. The company decided to revamp its website, and entire brand messaging and relaunch its international operations across the USA. Tulip Naturals enlisted the Ecomm-Copywriter (aka Sacha Gorelik) for help in creating high converting product pages, as well as the other pages on their new website.
THE PROCESS
Tulip Natural founder Yossi Ziv wanted me to understand just how impressive their products are before I got started with the new copy. And, he kindly sent me samples of all the products I would be writing about ( my skin is loving this client). We also had a strategy call to discuss the brand personality, image, and mission of Tulip Natural. After discussing the creative direction for each product page, homepage, and about us page. It was time to get to work.
THE RESULTS
I spent the next few weeks gathering as much info as I could about the women buying their skincare line, reading reviews, and researching what competitors were offering as well. It was a wonderful experience to write for a brand with a prestigious and luxurious personality and product line. Making sure the messaging was formal yet friendly was a fine line that needed to be consistent across all touchpoints.
Yossi and the Tulip marketing team were extremely pleased with the copy, so much so that there were barely any edits or revisions to make after delivering all the website copy. Once the new website was up and running, they hired me to help with their promo emails, welcome emails, and post-purchase emails. The result was a beautiful website, and a highly successful relaunch in the USA!
